As darkness falls over Khao Sok National Park, the flights on this gentle float down the Sok River comes alive. An immense sound fills the air as the cicadas and huge grasshoppers start their nightly concert. Bats swish through the sky full of stars. The night life of the river calls, cackles, and rustles everywhere.

Take a torch and look out for the slow loris, amazing insects, nocturnal birds, and bats hanging upside down in trees. The Night Canoe Safari trip was initiated by a group of local villagers interested in sharing and preserving their special environment.

Each canoe comes with a guide who is responsible for paddling the boat.
