Take a 5-hour local jeep ride from Kagbeni to Ghami, passing through dramatic desert landscapes, ancient cliffs, and traditional villages like Chhusang and Syangboche.
Day 6: Ghami to Ghargumba by Trekking
Ascend on a 5–6-hour scenic trek from Ghami to Ghar Gumba, one of the oldest monasteries in Mustang. The trail winds through barren hills, colourful cliffs, and ancient mani walls.
Day 7: Ghargumba to Lo-Manthang
Trek from Ghar Gumba to Lo-Manthang, crossing the high Chogo La Pass at around 4,280 metres. Enjoy breathtaking views of the Mustang landscape and distant peaks.

On the second day of Lo-Manthang’s Yartung Festival, the excitement peaks with the King’s horse race, a prestigious event symbolising honour and heritage.
