What you can expect

Venture into the majestic world of the Jungfraujoch on this unforgettable tour amid the peaks and snowy slopes of the Swiss Alps. With a scenic ride on a cogwheel railway and spectacular views from the Top of Europe, you spend a day surrounded by the wonders of the magnificent Bernese Highlands.

A morning drive from Lucerne brings you to visit the charming town of Interlaken, nestled between mountain ridges and the alpine lakes of Thunersee and Brienzersee. Next, move on to Lauterbrunnen, where you board the modern cogwheel railway for a ride up the slopes to Kleine Scheidegg, a pass at the foot of the imposing north face of the Eiger.

With towering mountains all around, the railway ascends to the highest station in Europe, depositing you at 11,333 feet (3,454 m) when you arrive at the Jungfraujoch. Visit the frozen sculptures of the Ice Palace, or step out to the Sphinx lookout terrace for breathtaking views of the longest glacier in the Alps, before you descend to the forested village of Grindelwald and start your ride back to Lucerne.
