Overview

  • Join me on a relaxed walk through Amsterdam’s canals and historic areas — combining iconic sights, hidden courtyards, and local life.

This private tour starts at the Anne Frank House, where we stop outside to hear her storey and take photos of this powerful landmark.

We continue through the Canal Belt (Grachtengordel), a UNESCO-listed 17th-century area known for its elegant canals and wealthy merchant houses, while I share stories about Amsterdam’s Golden Age.

Next, we try a freshly made Dutch stroopwafel before exploring the charming Jordaan district, including a hidden hofje, a peaceful courtyard away from the crowds.

We then walk along the scenic Brouwersgracht, one of Amsterdam’s most beautiful canals, before finishing in a traditional café with Dutch beer, jenever, and local snacks.

A relaxed and authentic way to experience Amsterdam.

Brouwersgracht

Brouwersgracht is one of Amsterdam’s most beautiful canals, often called the “Brewers Canal” because of the beer breweries that once stood here. Today, it’s lined with elegant canal houses, old warehouses, and houseboats, showing a perfect mix of history and everyday life.
