Know before you book

    • Infants are required to sit on an adult’s lap
    • Suitable for all physical fitness levels
    • The enclosure with the animals is located in the forest about 50-100m from the road.
    • Please make sure to wear proper clothes for the weather and good shoes (might be muddy or snowy).

Activity itinerary

Follow our guide into the reindeer enclosure and feed the animals. The reindeer normally eat directly from the hand and sometimes they are friendly enough to let you pet them gently. During the activity the guide will talk about the reindeer and the sámi culture and way of life. Free for children under 7 years old! Disclaimer: Our reindeer are semi-tame and usually enjoy eating directly from your hand. However, please keep in mind that they are animals with their own free will; we cannot guarantee specific behaviours during the activity. The reindeer roam freely in their enclosure and follow their own instincts. The best way to encourage them to come close is to follow your guide’s instructions and avoid sudden movements, as they can be easily startled.
