      What you can expect

      • *DAY 01:

        • Hotel pickup
        • Dolphin Watching: observe grey or pink dolphins.
        • Visit to the “Indigenous Community – KUKAMA TRIBE”: We will visit and dance with them, as they have been guardians of the region’s biodiversity, using their deep knowledge of plants and natural medicine to survive in this challenging environment.
        • MONKEY ISLAND – Neyser: Continuing our journey along the Amazon, we will enter a creek to visit monkeys in their natural habitat.
        • Lunch: Typical jungle dishes. (Please inform us in advance for vegetarian options.)
        • SWIM IN THE AMAZON: After lunch, we will have a 30-minute rest, followed by a refreshing swim in the Amazon River, enjoying its beaches and participating in a “flowering bath” in the black mud.
        • AMAZON SUNSET: Observation of the beautiful sunset over the Amazon River (weather permitting) and possible pink dolphin sightings (seasonal).
        • Dinner
        • NIGHT EXCURSION: An evening walk through the lush jungle to observe various species of insects, tarantulas, frogs, scorpions, monkeys, and nocturnal birds.

        *DAY 02:

        • AMAZON SUNRISE: Observation of the sunrise, along with the sounds and sightings of various bird species.
        • Breakfast
        • WILDLIFE RESCUE CENTER: We will head to the Wildlife Rescue Centre (“Fundo Rony”) to observe and interact with various wild animals such as sloths, monkeys, macaws, toucans, boa constrictors, and turtles.
        • AMAZONIAN TRAPICHE: Enjoy a tasting of artisanal macerates such as camu camu, “7 roots,” and ginger, providing an opportunity to harness their medicinal properties.
        • PIRANHA FISHING: We will prepare for an artisanal fishing tour, where the guide will teach us the local techniques for fishing piranhas.
        • Lunch: Typical jungle dishes.
        • After lunch, take some time to relax, explore the surroundings, or enjoy the camp’s pool.

        • NIGHT CANOEING & CAIMAN WATCHING: We will head out in canoes to search for caimans, learning about their role in nature and then safely releasing them.

        *DAY 03:

        • Breakfast
        • BOTANICAL WALK: We will take a botanical walk to learn about the main trees and medicinal plants found in the Amazon.
        • YANAYACU RIVER NAVIGATION: We will embark on a “peque peque” boat to navigate the Yanayacu River, a remote corner of the jungle that hosts astonishing biodiversity, with lush forests, winding rivers, and unique wildlife.
        • GIANT TREE TRAIL: Our goal is to reach the giant tree where we can make a wish to Mother Nature at the base of the Lupuna tree.
        • YAGUAS INDIGENOUS TRIBE: This visit will allow you to learn about their ancestral customs, admire their traditional attire made from palm fibres, and even test your aim with the “pucuna” (blowgun) that the Yaguas have used for centuries to hunt.
        • Lunch at the Lodge: Typical jungle dishes.
        • After lunch, take some time to relax, explore the surroundings, or enjoy the pool. At the appropriate time, we will board our boat to return to Iquitos.
        • Return in Iquitos (Plaza de Armas) around 5:30pm
