What you can expect

  • The workshop will take place at the Cassonade pastry shop (rue du Pas-Saint-Georges), in a relaxed and friendly setting. A doctor of oenology will explain:

    • How the nose works and olfactory memory.
    • The main families of aromas found in wine.
    • The basics of tasting: visual analysis, olfactory analysis, and mouth analysis.
    • The history of canelé and its connection to wine.
    • The wine & canelé pairing.

    The workshop will be followed by a Q&A session. You'll taste a white wine, a red wine, and a sweet wine. For the canelé, you can choose between the classic version, the rum-free version, and the vegan version.
