What you can expect

  • Imbros Gorge. A land shaped by time and legend. Walk paths etched with stories of resilience and nature’s raw beauty. Towering stone walls whisper tales of ancient travellers, shepherds, and those who relied on this sacred passage.

In May 1941, the gorge became a lifeline for Allied soldiers and local families escaping to freedom. Today, it invites you to follow in their footsteps—not in hardship, but in discovery.

Guided by our expert local insiders, this journey transforms the hike into an immersive experience, unveiling the secrets of Crete’s landscapes and traditions. With each step, you’ll feel the connection between the land and its people—a bond as timeless as the gorge itself.

At the trail’s end, the Libyan Sea shimmers like a promise. Dive into its crystal waters. Feast on authentic Cretan flavours at a seaside taverna. Crafted with care, this journey invites you to embrace Crete’s wild beauty with a soft heart—an adventure as untamed as it is unforgettable.
