Activity itinerary

Spend a fun, relaxed day learning the basics of traditional winter fishing with our guide! Start your day with meeting your guide at Eräsoppi Ivalo shop and rental. The guide will then take you to beautiful Lake Rahajärvi, near Ivalo. There you will learn about traditional winter fishing such as ice fishing and net fishing under the ice. While you learn the basics of fishing, you get to enjoy the surrounding silence and beauty of Lappish nature. After fishing you will enjoy a delicious lunch by the fire and if you are lucky you get to cook your own catch! Here in the North our waters are cold and clear, and thus the fish is super fresh and mouth watering. Join us for this amazing trip, experience and learn! The trip is executed with a minimum of 4 participants. Please be at the shop latest 9:45, so we have time for necessary preparations. The total duration of the trip is around 5 h. We return to the shop by 15:00.
