What you can expect

Experience the thrill of SIX MILE CREEK 3-CANYON! This exciting run features 4 hours of pool-drop style Class IV & V rapids through the lush terrain of Chugach National Forest. A truly world-class section of whitewater that happens to be half-day accessible and gives a one-of-a-kind Alaskan adventure in just a few hours.

Join the original guiding company, with over 40 years of experience on Six Mile Creek, leading the way through this iconic stretch of whitewater. Outfitted with top-of-the-line gear and expert guides, we continue to set the standard for safety and professionalism in the industry.

This creek runs through two consecutive canyons. Each canyon offers increasingly beautiful and challenging terrain, with narrow passages, steep drops, crashing waves, and deep, stunning blue pools. Surrounded by green rainforest walls, this thrilling ride will keep you on the edge of your seat!

The creek cuts through the breathtaking Chugach National Forest before flowing into the Pacific Ocean at Turnagain Arm, just a short distance from the charming town of Hope. Located only two hours south of Anchorage off the Seward Highway, this tour combines exhilarating rapids with the serene beauty of a semi-rainforest gorge—truly a picture-perfect river trip.

Both our 2-canyon and 3-canyon rafting trips include a mandatory (yet fun) in-river swim test before launching. This ensures everyone’s comfort and safety in the water, allowing participants to practice self-rescue techniques and assess swimming abilities before hitting the rapids.
