  • Enjoy comfortable pickup and drop-off from your chosen location before travelling to My Son Sanctuary, a remarkable archaeological site in Central Vietnam, about 40 kilometres southwest of Hoi An. Recognised as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site, My Son was once the spiritual and political capital of the Champa Kingdom, which flourished between the 4th and 13th centuries.

    Nestled in a lush, green valley surrounded by mountains, My Son Sanctuary is home to an impressive collection of ancient Hindu temples and towers. These structures were built by the Cham people to honour Shiva, one of the principal deities of Hinduism. Over the centuries, the sanctuary has endured wars and natural disasters, but many of its red-brick temples and intricate carvings remain, offering a fascinating glimpse into the region’s history, architecture, and spiritual life.

    Visitors to My Son can explore the atmospheric ruins, learn about the unique Champa culture, and witness traditional performances that keep the spirit of this ancient civilisation alive. The sanctuary’s mystical setting and cultural significance make it one of Vietnam’s most treasured and unforgettable historic sites.

    Our friendly guide will pick you up from your hotel in the Hoi An area. We’ll then depart together for My Son Sanctuary, a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site.

    Arrive at My Son Sanctuary. Spend the next two hours exploring this ancient site on foot with our knowledgeable, English-speaking guide. Discover the fascinating Champa culture, admire the impressive ruins, and enjoy a traditional Champa performance.

    Return to the minivan and transfer to the river wharf. Board a boat for a scenic cruise back to Hoi An along the Thu Bon River, the largest river in Central Vietnam. Relax with a refreshing breeze, marvel at the beautiful sunset, and soak in the vibrant river life.
    Enjoy a delicious Vietnamese Banh Mi on board and have your camera ready to capture the stunning scenery and local activities along the riverbanks.
