What you can expect

  • 7:00–8:00 AM – Pickup at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter (details confirmed by our travel consultant).

    En route – 25-minute stop at a rest area for coffee, breakfast, or shopping.

    10:45 AM – Arrive in Ninh Binh to visit either:

    Hoa Lu – 10th-century ancient citadel with King Dinh/Le temples (17th century), or
    Bai Dinh Pagoda – the largest pagoda complex, home to record-breaking statues and the longest Arhat corridor
    (depending on the option you choose)

    Lunch – Buffet with 20+ East-meets-West dishes at a local restaurant.

    Afternoon – Tam Coc/Trang An boat trip (1.5–2 hrs) through rice fields, limestone mountains, and riverside villages. (You stay on the boat throughout; no on-land stops until returning to the dock.)

    If time allows, enjoy a short village cycling tour.

    Mua Cave – Optional 15-minute hike up Ngoa Long Mountain for panoramic views of Ninh Binh and Tam Coc valley. (Strenuous — not recommended for elderly, children, or those less mobile.)

    5:00 PM – Depart for Hanoi, with a short rest stop en route.

    7:30 PM – Drop-off at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter. Tour ends.
