Why is history of Santorini so interesting?
Some theories support that Thira was the site of the capital of Atlantis the lost civilisation. Discoveries made in an important city near Akrotiri and the famous Red Beach showed the existence of an ancient Minoan colony. Also, it has taken thousands of volcanic eruptions for the island to be formed.

It was always my passion meeting people from all over the world and sharing my knowledge for my island's history since I was a kid.
