Set out on a memorable electric bike tour of Athens that seamlessly blends the city’s ancient heritage with its vibrant modern character. Your experience begins at a centrally located meeting point, where you’ll receive a short briefing and have time for a test ride to get comfortable with your e-bike. Once you’re ready, you’ll start with a gentle ride on a wide, traffic-free road—an ideal way to ease into the tour and build confidence before exploring the city in full.

From there, the journey becomes more dynamic as you glide effortlessly uphill towards Pnyka and Filoppappou Hill. Thanks to the electric assistance, the climb is smooth and enjoyable, allowing you to focus on the stunning surroundings rather than the effort. At the top, you’ll pause to take in sweeping panoramic views of Athens, with plenty of opportunities to capture memorable photos of the city stretching out beneath you.

Continuing on, you’ll pass by some of Athens’ most iconic archaeological landmarks. Marvel at the Odeon of Herodes Atticus, an ancient stone theatre still used for performances today, and visit the historic Areios Pagos, once the site of Athens’ supreme court in antiquity. As you ride along the slopes of the Acropolis, your guide will share fascinating insights into the significance of these sites.

The tour then leads you towards the Temple of Olympian Zeus, one of the largest temples of the ancient world, and the nearby Arch of Hadrian, a striking monument that symbolises the transition from ancient Greek to Roman Athens. Along the way, you’ll also encounter more modern highlights, including the Parliament building, where you can observe the Evzones—the ceremonial guards—standing watch in their distinctive traditional uniforms.

Next, you’ll cycle past the National Gardens, a peaceful green oasis in the heart of the city, before arriving at the Panathenaic Stadium. This remarkable venue, built entirely of marble, hosted the first modern Olympic Games in 1896 and remains a powerful symbol of athletic history.

As the tour winds down, you’ll ride through the charming, narrow streets of Plaka, one of Athens’ most picturesque areas. Nestled at the foot of the Acropolis, Plaka offers a glimpse into the city’s more intimate and traditional side, with its neoclassical architecture and lively atmosphere.

Before returning to the starting point, you’ll stop to admire the Tower of the Winds, an ancient timekeeping structure, and explore the nearby Roman and ancient marketplaces, where the layers of Athens’ history come vividly to life. This thoughtfully designed route ensures a rich, immersive experience, combining culture, history, and scenic beauty into one unforgettable ride.
