What you can expect

Have a sightseeing tour to the most popular highlights in Helsinki city centre in the morning and head to Seurasari island in the afternoon.

Meet the guide at agreed time and location, you will first marvel at the city's cultural landmarks and historic monuments, including Senate Square, Helsinki Cathedral, Uspenski Orthoodox Cathedral, Esplanade Park, Market Square, and Old Market Hall. Whilst touring these areas, you will also learn about Finnish history, culture, and tradition.

Following your city tour, you will continue to the Seurasaari - the lovely island that is local Finnish's favourite. It has a nick name of “Squirrel Island” and is well known for the Open-Air Museum. You will have a guided tour of the island. You will begin with a lunch break on Seurasaari Island, where a restaurant was built in 1890 alongside a cafe that serves 18 different flavours of ice cream. The open-air museum is dotted with wooden buildings, which once belonged to farmers and villagers from all around Finland. As you explore the rural villages, you’ll gain a fascinating insight into traditional Finnish life, culture, and heritage. Following your tour, you will be dropped off back at your tour meeting point.
