What you can expect

  • Day 1: Haridwar – Guptkashi (Drive – 210 km / 8-9 hours)
    Morning: Pickup from Haridwar railway station/hotel
    Drive via Rishikesh, Devprayag, Rudraprayag to reach Guptkashi
    En route, enjoy views of the Ganga, Alaknanda, and Mandakini rivers
    Check-in to hotel in Guptkashi
    Evening: Visit Ardh Narishwar Temple (optional), Overnight stay in Guptkashi

    Day 2: Guptkashi – Gaurikund – Kedarnath (Trek / Helicopter)
    Early morning departure to Gaurikund (30 km by drive)
    Begin 16 km trek to Kedarnath (you may also opt for helicopter, pony, or palki services)
    Arrive at Kedarnath Temple, one of the 12 Jyotirlingas
    Attend evening aarti & darshan at Kedarnath Temple
    Overnight stay in Kedarnath (basic accommodation or guesthouse)
    Important Note: Accommodation in Kedarnath is very basic. Carry warm clothes and essentials in a small backpack.

    Day 3: Kedarnath – Gaurikund – Guptkashi – Haridwar
    Early morning darshan at the temple (if missed the previous evening)
    Trek down to Gaurikund
    Drive back to Guptkashi, and continue onward to Haridwar
    Drop at Haridwar by evening/night
