What you can expect

Begin your day with a pickup from your hotel in city centre Shanghai. Head to the train station and board the bullet train to Hangzhou. Use the journey to plan your day—your guide will offer suggestions and tailor the itinerary to your interests.

Upon arrival in Hangzhou, enjoy a short stroll along scenic West Lake and a relaxing 45-minute boat ride. Your guide will share local history and stories along the way.

Next, visit a well-known Longjing green tea farm. Explore the tea fields, enjoy the beautiful surroundings, and savour a local lunch.

Following lunch, visit the famous Lingyin Temple. If you’ve been to Hangzhou before and would like to see other sites, feel free to discuss alternatives with your guide. Suggested options include Meijiawu Tea Village, Hefang Street, Leifeng Pagoda, Yuewang Temple, and Liuhe Pagoda.

After your tour, take a bullet train back to Shanghai, where your guide will accompany you to your hotel.
