After being picked up from your hotel in city centre Puno in the morning, embark on a journey across Lake Titicaca to witness the artificial floating islands constructed by the indigenous Uros people. Enjoy unique views of the natural reserve and observe wildlife such as flamingos, ducks, and other endemic birds. Upon arrival at the island, receive a warm welcome from the local residents and listen to their traditional songs. Learn about their extraordinary history and culture from your tour guide while taking in the breathtaking natural and man-made landscapes of approximately 75 small and large islands.
Take advantage of free time to stroll around the islands and interact with the local residents. Opt for an additional experience by joining a ride on a reed boat with the local population. After approximately 3.5 hours, we will return to the city of Puno, where we will drop you off at your hotel in the city centre.
