Riva degli Schiavoni – Venice’s most famous waterfront Riva degli Schiavoni is one of the most suggestive and famous promenades in Venice. It stretches from the Ponte della Paglia, next to St. Mark's Square and the Doge's Palace, to the Giardini della Biennale, offering spectacular views of the Venice Lagoon and the Island of San Giorgio Maggiore. It was once the landing point of ships from Dalmatia (the ancient "Schiavoni"), today it is an elegant promenade animated by historic cafes, hotels, shops and quaint wharves where gondolas, water taxis and vaporettos dock.

Ponte dei Sospiri (Pass by)

The Bridge of Sighs is one of the most famous symbols of Venice. Built at the beginning of the 17th century, it connects the Doge's Palace to the ancient prisons. Its name derives from the legendary "sigh" of prisoners who, crossing it, saw the lagoon for the last time before detention.
