Description

Fly out from the heart of Las Vegas for champagne and light snacks amid the incredible scenery of the Grand Canyon. You’re treated to aerial views of the Hoover Dam, Colorado River, and Las Vegas Strip before descending 3,200 feet (975 m) deep in the canyon.

A luxury stretch limousine awaits just steps outside your hotel, and a quick jaunt brings you to the helicopter terminal just off the Las Vegas Strip. After a short introduction in the pre-flight lounge, board your helicopter for a spectacular journey to the Grand Canyon.

The flight carries you over the impressive Hoover Dam and the gorgeous red mountains of the Mojave Desert. Hover over the calm waters of Lake Mead, the largest man-made lake in the United States, as your pilot shares historical facts and commentary.

Next, you follow the curves of the Colorado River until you reach the massive drop-off of the Grand Canyon. See this immense wonder from a rare vantage point high in the sky before preparing for a dramatic landing at the Hualapai Indian Reservation. Thanks to a special agreement with the Hualapai Tribe, your pilot can bring you down inside the canyon itself for a one-of-a-kind experience.

With the picturesque canyon walls rising all around you, nibble on light picnic snacks and sip a glass of bubbly. After you’ve finished, board your helicopter for a scenic flight back to Las Vegas. A flyover of the Strip lets you admire the sights from above before you hop back in your stretch limo and relax on the return drive to your hotel.

The helicopter flight was great. However, the tour did not include the "Ample time to explore the Hualapai Tribe Reservation" as they advertise it. This part was not covered and there were no explanations about it. The champagne is not champagne (it needs to be from the French region to be able to call it champagne). It was rather a cheap brut wine. The snacks are cookies and candies. The experience is GOOD but you do not really get what you read in the tour description.
