      What you can expect

Head offshore from the Gold Coast in a rigid inflatable speedboat and have the chance to swim and snorkel with majestic humpback whales. Learn about the whales and enjoy respectful encounters with them with a marine biologist guide.

Make your way to the meeting point and meet your guide. Then, hop into the rigid inflatable speedboat and set off across the water in search of the whales. There are over 35,000 humpbacks on Australia's East coast, so sightings are guaranteed, though the whales decide if they want to swim with you.

Enjoy a great chance to swim with the whales as your marine biologist skipper will use their experience of swimming with whales around the world to identify happy and curious whale behaviour. Gentle and curious humpback whales often approach the boat to say hello.

As group sizes are kept to a minimum, the chances of a unique and special encounter increase further. Despite their size, humpbacks can be shy and large groups of people in the water are definitely not ideal for a good whale interaction.

Stay warm during your experience with 5mm freedive suits with hoods and quality masks and fins. Travel on a fast and comfortable rigid inflatable boat used by the military and police due to their safety and stability, with individual seats and all safety equipment on board.
