Leaves at 9:00am Description: The Bearded Vulture is a large bird of prey that lives in high mountains. It has a wingspan of about 2.5–3 metres. It mainly eats bones and bone marrow. It drops large bones onto rocks to break them into smaller pieces. The Bearded Vulture is an important part of the mountain ecosystem.

American palaeontologist first found dinosaur bones and eggs in the area while he was reasearching a trace of ancient people with his crew in 1922.
