What you can expect

  • Begin by arriving at Tatapouri Reef and getting fitted out in Dive Tatapouri's waders, which will keep you dry as you walk across the reef. Grab your bamboo stability stick and get ready to go.

Next, follow your guide across the reef at low tide. Enjoy a slightly uneven but magical walk that feels like stepping into another world. Then, wade out to the drop-off point and stand in the shallow water.

Watch as the stingrays begin to gather around you — curious, calm, and completely wild. With your guides on hand, observe and interact with the stingrays, eagle rays, and reef fish swimming around your feet.

Ask questions, learn about the marine ecosystem, and soak up the stories of this remarkable reef and its inhabitants. Finally, capture the moment with your waterproof camera or phone.
