What you can expect

  • Your experience begins with a pickup from your accommodation. Relax on your drive to Yala National Park, home to 44 varieties of mammals and 215 bird species.

As you drive through the park, enjoy the sunrise, also known as the “golden hours” of the day. Explore the light forests, scrubs, grasslands, and lagoons in search of the many animals who call the park home.

After your safari, enjoy a delicious picnic lunch before the drive to Udawalawe Elephant Transit Home. Arrive during feeding hours and smile at hundreds of wild elephant babies.

Once feeding is over, head to Udawalawe National Park. Search for the world’s most concentrated number of elephants, spotted deer, jackals, wild boar, wild buffalo, and crocodiles with your guide and driver.

After the safari ends at sunset, head back to your accommodation.
