Hosted at a trendy local venue in Austin, this hands-on experience lets young chefs roll fruit-filled sushi that looks adorable, tastes delicious and requires zero raw fish bravery. Chef Desiree will guide kids step by step as they layer soft sweet rice and soya paper with bananas, strawberries, pineapple and orange. Then, they’ll add fruit-flavored cream cheeses for a creamy, colourful twist before learning simple rolling and presentation techniques. Each child will have time to create, taste and enjoy their own fruit sushi rolls in a relaxed, beginner-friendly setting. All ingredients and tools are included, and each child must attend with an adult for the full class.
