  • Discover why Samba has been a locally beloved dance in Brazil since the late 19th century with a lively introduction class. Led by professional Samba dancers, learn about the dance's history and culture, feel the music's unique rhythm, and have a blast mastering the art of dancing the Samba.

The traditional Samba dance is said to be derived from African origin and celebrates the culture's rhythmic drums and energetic dancing. See how it has since grown to become the quintessential music and dance form associated with Brazil's renowned Carnival and get up-close views of a dancer's elaborate costume.

Your instructors illustrate the basic dance movements and how to follow the lively music beat. Then it's your turn. Don't be shy—much of Samba dancing is improvised once mastered, so dance the night away.
