Get picked up from your hotel or make your way to a central meeting point in town and settle into a seat on a comfortable coach for the drive up to the majestic, 9th-century Prague Castle. Along the way, pass by New Town and Old Town landmarks like the grand National Theatre, the Rudolfinum cultural venue, the Gothic tower of the Powder Gate, and the wide open plaza of Wenceslas Square.
Upon arrival at the castle complex, sit down to a 3-course lunch at Restaurant near to the Prague Castle (soup, main dish – choose from chicken or vegetarian menu, dessert and jug of water ). After dessert, stroll off on foot to explore the formal, 17th-century gardens of Valdstejn and the area around the castle. Meander through the maze of cobbled streets of Lesser Town, enjoy the Baroque architecture of Kampa Island, and check out the musically inspired street art that adorns the Lennon Wall.
Make your way to Charles Bridge and embark on a cruise with refreshment (in summer: one drink beer, lemonade, water, tea or coffee, ice cream or gingerbread. In winter: one drink beer, lemonade, water, tea, coffee or mulled wine, gingerbread) past the incredible architecture that lines the Vltava. Afterwards, listen to your guide share facts and stories during a stroll to Palach's Square and through the Jewish Quarter.
