full day pillones waterfall day :1 Start: 6:15 am. Pick up at your hotel in the city of Arequipa, then we will begin a 2:30 hour tour to san Antonio de Chuca (Arequipa - puno highway, Km. 154); we will have breakfast beforehand (not included in the price of the tour). We will walk 1 km along a short but somewhat cold route, so you should bring a windbreaker. When we reach the Pillones waterfall we will see rocks shaped by the erosion of the water, we will see vizcachas (andean rodent) jumping between the rocks. You can descend to the waterfall but with great care, once there you can take photos and enjoy the warm weather, flora and fauna of the region. After visiting the beautiful Pillones waterfalls, we will head towards the “Stone Forest” of imata 150 km northeast of Arequipa (Puno highway, approximately 2.30 hours by car). We will arrive at the picturesque town of Imata and with our guide we will begin the hike of approximately 30 minutes to the forest. We will be able to see the stone forest of Imata, a natural place with strange rock formations and stone columns, where your imagination and fun will have no limits, you will be able to take photos and play with shadows. Finally on the way back, in coordination with the passenger, a stop is made for lunch. 4:30 pm approx. return to Arequipa.
