Nagarkot is one of the most popular and easily accessible tourist destinations near Kathmandu. Perched at an elevation of 2,150 metres, it offers breathtaking panoramic views of the Himalayas, including, Mount Everest. Nagarkot not only for its stunning mountain vistas but also for its serene atmosphere, perfect for nature walks.
One of the most rewarding experiences in Nagarkot is the scenic hike to Changu Narayan. The trail winds through lush forests, traditional villages, & past ancient temples & monasteries, offering a glimpse into rural Nepali life. About two hours of hiking, you’ll reach Trishul Danda, a vantage point with spectacular views of all three major cities in Kathmandu. The trail continues for an hour to Changu Narayan Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its ancient architecture, intricate wood carvings, & rich cultural significance.

Nagarkot is situated at a altitude of 2175m is a view point to see the Himalayan Peaks including Mt.Everest, Ganesh Himal- Langtang Range- Drive 20m and hike for about 3 hrs (Local life of Nepal when walking) . Arrive at Changu Narayan Town. There will be a break for lunch at a local restaurant and after lunch drive back to Hotel. Tour ends.
