What you can expect

Ayutthaya was the former capital of Thailand, located in the valley of the Chao Phraya River. The city was founded in 1350 by King U Thong. The city was one of the world largest cities at that time. In 1767, the city was destroyed by the Burmese army, resulting in the collapse of the kingdom. The new King and his people were moved from Ayutthaya and related to the new location in Bangkok. However, the ruins still left over to see the civilisation off the past. Later, Ayuttaya was recognised internationally as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1991.

The city was called “Venice of the East”
In the past people used only boat go from one corner to another area. There was hundreds of networks of canals connect to one another. It made Ayutthaya very unique and easy to navigate around. This tour is recommended for those who interest in history. The heat and and weather is quite warm inthe summer time. Please bring umbella or hat for advoid the heat. But the good side of travel to Ayutthaya during summer is no rain and the sky is very nice and clear.
