Meet your guide and head straight to Meinohama Fishing Port, where Keigo Nishinaga, a 3rd-generation fisherman from the Nishinaga family, welcomes you aboard Genpukumaru. With beginner-friendly gear and Keigo's patient coaching, spend three hours fishing with sweeping views of the bay.

Learn about the sustainable practices Keigo follows to protect the bay's ecosystem. Back on shore, hand your catch directly to the chef of Izakaya Gen, a beloved area seafood restaurant near Meinohama Station.

Settle in at Izakaya Gen for dinner: sashimi, tempura, and seasonal dishes prepared from the fish you caught just hours earlier. The chef uses traditional Japanese techniques — careful ageing and preparation — to coax the maximum flavour from your catch. Dinner is guaranteed even if the fish aren't biting that day.
