Depart from Zarzis for an exceptional day of exploring Djerba Island, a true pearl of southern Tunisia where culture, tradition and authentic landscapes come together.
Your adventure begins early in the morning, around 7:00 AM, as you cross the famous Roman road that connects Zarzis to Djerba. Once on the island, you'll begin your tour to discover its must-see sights and typical villages.
Start with Guellala, famous for its traditional crafts and pottery, then immerse yourself in the artistic world of Djerbahood, a village that has become an open-air museum thanks to international street art.
Continue to the “Ghriba”, one of the oldest Jewish places of worship in Africa, before reaching the vibrant market of Houmet Souk, rich in colours, the scents of spices, and local crafts.
Your morning ends at the Spanish fort Borj El Ghazi Mostapha, which offers a panoramic view of the Djerba coastline.
You will then enjoy a traditional Tunisian lunch and some relaxing time over a mint tea.
In the afternoon, it's time to get away from it all: choose your activity according to your interests — a camel ride, a horseback ride, a quad bike ride, a buggy ride, or a carriage ride to the crocodile park.
(Optional activity at an additional fee, payment on site.)
At the end of the day, you'll return to Zarzis, enriched with unique souvenirs and unforgettable images of Djerba.
