Day 1: Italy – Tirana
Depart from Italy and arrive at Tirana airport. After meeting your guide, transfer to your hotel for check-in. Enjoy a welcome dinner and get a good night’s rest in the lively capital of Albania, Tirana.
Day 2: Tirana – Durres
After breakfast, visit Tirana’s most iconic landmarks: Skanderbeg Square, Ethem Bey Mosque, and the fascinating Hoxha’s atomic bunker. Following lunch, head to Durres. Explore the impressive Amphitheatre of Durres, the ancient Villa of Durres, and the modern aspects of the city. Overnight stay in Durres.
Day 3: Berat – Apollonia – Vlora
Visit the UNESCO World Heritage site of Berat, also known as the “City of a Thousand Windows.” Explore Berat Castle, and the Museum of Icons. Afterwards, travel to Apollonia, one of Albania’s most significant archaeological sites, to visit the ruins and the Monastery of Santa Maria. Arrive in Vlora, where you will stay overnight.
Day 4: Saranda – Butrint
Head towards Saranda, making a scenic stop at Llogara Pass, for breathtaking views. After lunch, explore Butrint National Park, another UNESCO World Heritage site rich in history. Overnight in Saranda.
Day 5: Blue Eye – Gjirokaster
Depart for Gjirokaster, a UNESCO-listed town. Along the way, stop to admire the famous Blue Eye, a mesmerising natural spring. In Gjirokaster, visit the castle, the Arms Museum, and wander through the old town. The day ends with dinner and an overnight stay in Gjirokaster.
Day 6: Gjirokaster – Kelcyra – Permet – Korça
Continue through Kelcyra and Permet, a town known for its thermal springs and scenic landscapes. Head to Korça, where you’ll visit the Medieval Art Museum, the traditional market, and the first Albanian school. Overnight in Korça.
Day 7: Korça – Voskopoje – Pogradec
Visit Voskopoje, a picturesque village with its remarkable churches. In the afternoon, head to Pogradec, located by the serene shores of Lake Ohrid. Enjoy some leisure time and stay overnight in a local hotel.
Day 8: Pogradec – Elbasan – Tirana

Day 9: Shkodra – Kruja – Durres

Day 10: Return to Italy
