The tour departs from the terminal of the port of Messina, the Driver will pick you up at the gate of your ship.
In about 1 hour we will arrive in Giarre, a town located at the foot of Mount Etna, we will continue the climb for another 30 minutes until we reach a height of about 1900 metres on the north side of the volcano.
Here visitors will have 2/3 hours of free time, they can pause to admire the Silvestri Craters, cones formed on the north side of the mountain, their formation dates back to the eruption of 1892, lasted 173 days covered about 7 kilometres stopping just above Nicolosi, at an altitude of 970 metres above sea level.
Visit the various stores characteristic of the place and taste typical Sicilian products.
For adventure lovers there is a cable car (tickets not included in the price) with which you can reach the top of the mountain and make your experience unique.
After the excursion you will be escorted to the gate of your ship.
