What you can expect

Explore the ancient cities of Samarkand and Bukhara on a 4-day tour from Tashkent. See the mausoleums, mosques, and madrasahs of these historic cities, and enjoy lunch and dinner at local restaurants.

Day 1: Tashkent - Samarkand
Depart from Tashkent and travel to Samarkand by train. Begin your tour at the Saint Daniel mausoleum and the Shakhi-Zinda complex. Visit the Guri Emir mausoleum, the Registan Square, and the Bibi-Khanum Mosque. Enjoy lunch and dinner at local restaurants.

Day 2: Samarkand - Bukhara
After breakfast, continue your journey to Bukhara. Visit the Kukeldash Madrasah, the Mir Arab Madrasah, the Lyabi-Hauz Ensemble, the Divan-Begi Madrasah, and the Divan-Begi khanaki. See the Nadir-Begi Hauza reservoir, the ARK Citadel, and the Ismail Samani Mausoleum. Enjoy lunch and dinner with a folk show.

Day 3: Bukhara
After breakfast, explore the Bakhauddin Naqshabandi Mausoleum and the Sitorai Mohi Xosa Palace. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Transfer to the train station and travel back to Tashkent.

Day 4: Tashkent
Start your tour of Tashkent in the Old Town. Visit the Khast-e-Imam Complex, where you can see the Quran of Osman from the 7th century. Explore the Chorsu Market and the new city. See the Monument of Courage, the Independence Square, the former residence of Prince Romanov, the Amir Temur Square, and the Broadway.

Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before the end of the tour.
