What you can expect

This is not just a wine tour! It’s a full day escaping the city, laughing with new people, discovering beautiful places and creating memories in one of Australia’s most iconic regions.

Leave Sydney behind and enjoy the scenic drive into the Hunter Valley while the landscapes slowly change from busy city streets to rolling vineyards and peaceful countryside. Along the way, relax with your 77Tours snack bag, bottled water, good music and plenty of photo stops through the Australian countryside.

Our first winery is where the day truly begins. Sip premium local wines, learn the stories behind the vineyards and experience why the Hunter Valley is famous all over Australia. No rushed tastings here — just good wine, beautiful views and a relaxed atmosphere.

Next, we visit another boutique winery, this time paired with delicious local cheeses. The kind of place where conversations get louder, people become friends and you start wishing the day would slow down.

For lunch, we stop at one of the Hunter Valley’s most beautiful venues. Take your time, enjoy the peaceful surroundings and keep an eye out for wild kangaroos casually hopping nearby — a truly Australian moment you’ll never forget.

Of course, no Hunter Valley day is complete without something sweet. At the Chocolate Factory, you’ll taste handmade chocolates and fudge that everyone secretly wishes they bought more of before leaving.

To finish the day, we head to a local distillery for tastings of gin, vodka and liqueurs crafted right here in the region. The perfect final stop before the drive home.

As the sun starts to set, sit back and relax on the journey back to Sydney. Full stomach, great photos, new memories and maybe even a few new friends along the way.
