What you can expect

Discover the Golden Circle, one of Iceland’s most popular tourist routes, offering a fascinating glimpse into the country’s unique natural wonders. The route is about 300 kilometres (190 miles) long and can easily be completed in a day from Reykjavík.

Visit the Kerið Crater, Gullfoss, Geysir, and Thingvellir National Park. Learn about the history of the park and its significance to the Icelandic people. Walk between the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates in the Almannagjá gorge.

Visit the Geysir Geothermal Area, where the Strokkur geyser erupts every 5-10 minutes, shooting boiling water up to 20-40 metres into the air. The area is full of bubbling hot springs, mud pots, and fumaroles, giving visitors a close-up view of geothermal activity.

Admire the Gullfoss Waterfall, meaning “Golden Falls,” one of Iceland's most iconic waterfalls. The Hvítá river cascades down in two stages into a deep canyon, creating a powerful and stunning sight.
