The experience starts with meeting your guide at your hotel or agreed-upon location. After a brief introduction, we'll start a guided tour of the Historic Centre of Platô and the Sucupira Market, where the guide will share stories, fun facts, and explanations about the culture, daily life, and colonial past of Santiago Island and Cape Verde in general. The visit continues with a stop in the Terra Branca area, where you'll have the chance to admire the beautiful paintings on the houses of Rua d'Arte. Then, we'll head to Cidade Velha, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the cradle of the Cape Verdean nation and culture. During the visit, you'll explore iconic sites like the Royal Fortress of São Filipe, Rua Banana, and Pelourinho, with time for photos and contemplation.
