Corleone is a name the world knows — but very few have truly heard its real storey. This private experience invites you to step inside that storey with someone who calls Corleone home.
I'm Giuseppe, born and raised in Corleone, founder of Discover Corleone. Unlike standard excursions where drivers drop guests off and pick them up hours later, I personally accompany you from the moment I welcome you in Palermo or other areas of western Sicily, until the moment we part. Every street, every site, every conversation — together.
YOUR DAY
We begin with pickup from your accommodation in Palermo or other areas of western Sicily. As we drive through the Sicilian countryside — valleys, vineyards, olive groves — I share the real history of the territory we are crossing, far beyond the Hollywood version.
In Corleone, we walk together through the historic centre: narrow medieval streets, hidden squares, and the layered storey of a town shaped by saints, nobles, peasants, and yes, by the Mafia and the courageous Anti-Mafia movement.
We will continue inside the International Documentation Centre on Mafia and Anti-Mafia, a place where powerful images and testimonies show both the dark years of organised crime and the brave civic resistance that changed the course of Sicilian history. This visit offers insight into how a community faced its past and began to rewrite its identity with dignity and courage. Entrance ticket included.
After the museum, we walk together to the Cascata delle Due Rocche, a natural waterfall just outside the town centre, where Sicilian nature reveals its quieter, untouched side.
A free hour for lunch follows, at a local restaurants I'll personally recommend (lunch not included — you choose freely).
In the afternoon, we visit the Royal Hunting Lodge of Ficuzza, a Bourbon palace built in 1799 in the heart of a protected forest — a hidden gem most tourists never see. Entrance ticket included.
At the end of the day, I bring you back to your chosen drop-off location.
WHY THIS EXPERIENCE IS DIFFERENT
I'm a Corleone-born host, not a driver from elsewhere. I speak Italian, English, and Spanish. I hold a degree in Tourism Sciences and an international Master's in Hospitality Management.
But beyond credentials: this is my home. I take you in as I would take in a friend visiting from abroad — with care, with honesty, and with stories that only someone from here can tell.
Maximum 4 guests per experience. Always private. Always accompanied.
