Day 1:
7:00 AM: Hotel pickup from Medellín in a private, air-conditioned SUV with an English-speaking guide/driver.
10:00 AM: Arrive in Jardín and visit a traditional Colombian coffee farm. Experience an immersive tour of a working coffee finca, where you’ll learn about the full process of coffee production, from harvesting the beans to brewing the perfect cup. The tour is led by an English-speaking guide who will walk you through the centuries-old methods used by local coffee farmers.
12:00 PM: Enjoy a delicious, traditional Colombian lunch at the coffee farm
3:00 PM: Hotel check in and explore Jardín’s vibrant town, visiting the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception and walking through the central square lined with colourful buildings and artisan shops.
4:30 PM: Take a ride on the iconic La Garrucha cable car, a rustic yet thrilling experience that offers stunning views of Jardín and the surrounding mountains.
6:00 PM: Free time to have dinner and enjoy the night in Jardin
Day 2:
7:00 AM: Breakfast at your hotel
8:30 AM: Begin your adventure to the Cueva del Esplendor. The journey starts with a scenic 50-minute Jeep ride from the town to the nearby countryside. From there, embark on a 1.5-kilometer hike through lush green hills to the Quitasol farm, where you’ll have time to rest and enjoy a snack.
After the break, descend a 500-meter trail that winds through native forests until you reach the stunning Cueva del Esplendor, a majestic cave with a waterfall pouring through its roof.
