Join us in this tour of 2 nights and 3 days into the majestic Amazonas region. Our expert tour guide will take you to Colombia and Peru to live enriching and exciting adventures. Explore the beauty of the Amazon River, walk down paths full of medicinal plants, and get diverse perspectives of the jungle.
Day 1. Arrival in Leticia and visit to the Natural Reserve
Your journey will begin at Leticia’s airport. After paying the tourism tax, you will meet one of our local guides who will pick you up and take you to the first destination: the Flor de Loto Natural Reserve. Here, you will enjoy activities such as birdwatching, canoeing or kayaking, artisanal fishing, a night outing, and swimming in the lake or the Amazon River (depending on the season). You will spend your first night of disconnectiion in here.
Day 2. Discover Puerto Nariño
The next day, after breakfast, you will head to the second stop, the town of Puerto Nariño. After a little walk and enjoying a local lunch, you will take a tour of the surrounding communities, visit the lookout tower, craft shops, relevant monuments for the community's history, and much more. Towards the end of the day, a family from the Tikuna indigenous community will invite you for dinner at their maloca. You will end the night with a nocturnal walk and return to your accommodation for rest.
Day 3. Cacao Island in Peru and ecological hike
On your last day, after breakfast, you will take another boat to visit the Peruvian community of San Antonio, also known as Cacao Island. Here, you will explore an ecological trail created by the community to observe, study, and protect primates, birds, and especially sloths. After the tour, you will enjoy a traditional lunch and return to Puerto Nariño, then to Leticia. This will conclude your last day of adventure and your immersive journey to the heart of the Amazon.
