Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu

Arrive at Kathmandu International Airport and be transferred to your hotel. Listen to an orientation in the evening, then enjoy a welcome dinner.

Day 2: Flight to Lukla and trek to Phakding

Take an early morning flight to Lukla, the gateway to Khumbu region and start the trek. The trek continues uphill up-to Phakding and takes 3 or 4 hours. You will stop at Phakding and stay overnight at Sherpa Shangrila Resort.

Day 3: Trek to Namche

After breakfast, start a journey through a pine forest and walk alongside the Dudh Koshi river. Ascend on a steep trail and reach Namche Bazaar (5-6 hours), probably the biggest town in the Everest region. Overnight at Hotel Sherpaland.

Day 4: Acclimatisation at Namche

To avoid altitude sickness, acclimatise in Namche Bazaar. Namche Bazaar is the most beautiful town of the Everest region. The place is occupied by a colourful market with ATMs, government offices, shops, and restaurants. Overnight at Hotel Sherpaland.

Day 5: Helicopter tour to Everest Base Camp/Kalapatthar

Start the day early to fully relish the magnificence of Mount Everest. Fly from Namche Bazaar over Everest Base Camp, Khubmu Glacier, and Kalapatthar with a helicopter and then head back to Lukla

Day 6: Fly back to Kathmandu and Kathmandu sightseeing tour

After breakfast, catch the early morning flight to Kathmandu from Lukla. Take a sightseeing tour of Kathmandu valley and visit various sites. Overnight at Hotel Aloft or Gokarna Forest Resort.
