The Korcula Wine & Sightseeing Tour is a four-hour journey through the eastern part of Korcula island by open-top panoramic minibus, visiting 3 wineries and tasting 10 locally produced wines. The tour combines the island's most dramatic viewpoints with its finest wine cellars — a complete introduction to Korcula in a single morning. Departs from Korcula Town at 11:00, returning by 15:00.
The tour opens with a stop at the Korcula town viewpoint, where the medieval old town spreads below and the Pelješac peninsula stretches across the water. From there the open-top panoramic minibus winds inland through pine-forested hills and terraced vineyards, passing hamlets that most visitors never see, before descending to the breathtaking bay of Pupnatska Luka — widely considered the most beautiful bay on the island.
The route continues into the Smokvica region — the heart of Korcula's wine country and the homeland of Pošip, the island's signature white grape. This fertile eastern stretch of the island has been under vine for over two thousand years.
The three wineries on this tour each tell a different storey. Two are family-owned estates where the same families have been making wine for generations. The third is a cooperative winery bringing together the harvests of dozens of Korcula growers — a fascinating contrast that shows the full breadth of winemaking on the island.
The tasting covers 10 wines, focusing on Korcula's indigenous grape varieties — Pošip, a golden aromatic white; Grk, a rare white grown exclusively in Lumbarda's sandy soils and found nowhere else in the world; Rukatac, an indigenous red becoming increasingly rare; and Plavac Mali, Croatia's most celebrated red grape. Honey, liqueurs and olive oil tasting also included.
In poor weather the roof closes but large panoramic windows maintain full views. In exceptional conditions a comfortable electric Opel minivan is used — the first electric minivan sold in Croatia.
Free pickup and drop-off included for guests within 5 km of Korcula Town.
