This 10-day trek from Kathmandu takes you deep into the Himalayan wilderness to explore the model village of Ghandruk and admire the sunrise from atop Poon Hill. Trek along the Modi Khola River and even take a revitalising dip in the Jhinu natural water springs while making memories that are sure to last a lifetime.
Day 1
Pick up from Tribhuvan International Airport (KTM) and check in to the hotel in Kathmandu (Thamel Eco Resort or Skyline Hotel).
Day 2
Drive 6-7 hours from Kathmandu (1320m) to Pokhara (914m) in an air-conditioned car. Overnight in a 3-star hotel (Hotel City Inn or Hotel Third Pole).
Day 3
Drive from Pokhara to Nayapul (1050m) and embark on a 4.5-hour trek along the Modi Khola River to Tikhedhunga (1577m) via Birethanti. Overnight at Tea House Lodge.
Day 4
Trek a steep section along the ridge from Tirkhedhunga to Ghorepani (2675 m). Overnight in Ghorepani at Tea House Lodge.
Day 5
Trek from Ghorepani to Poon Hill (3180m) and then to Tadapani (2675m). Overnight in Tadapani at Tea House Lodge.
Day 6
Enjoy an easy trek through oak and rhododendron forests from Tadapani to Ghandruk (1950m). Overnight at Tea House Lodge.
Day 7
From Ghandruk descend gently down to Dhampus passing through Pothana village (1900m). Take a transfer from Nayapul to Pokhara for an overnight in a 3-star hotel (Hotel City Inn or Hotel Third Pole).
Day 8
Rest day in Pokhara. For those seeking an extra adventure, paragliding, ziplining, and ultra-light activities are available for an additional cost. Overnight in a 3-star hotel (Hotel City Inn or Hotel third Pole).
Day 9
Drive approximately 7 hours from Pokhara to Kathmandu by tourist bus. On the way, stop by the Damauli, Dumre, Muglin, and Kurintar where Nepal's first cable car runs up to Manakamana Temple. It is also possible to book a flight from Pokhara to Kathmandu for an additional cost. Overnight in a 3-star hotel (Thamel Eco Resort or Skyline Hotel).
Day 10
Enjoy breakfast and free time in Kathmandu before departing for the airport in a private vehicle.
