7:45 – 8:15: Pick you up at the Hanoi Opera House and depart for Ha Thai Lacquer Village.
09:15 – 10:45: Visit Ha Thai Lacquer Village.
You will arrive at Ha Thai Village, famous for its traditional lacquer craft since the 17th century.
Meet and interact with local artisans at the workshop. You will be introduced to the steps of creating lacquer works from preparation to finished products.
Creative experience: Practice the basic steps to create a lacquer work under the
guidance of the artisan.
10:45: You will board the car to Chuong Conical Hat Village.
11:15 – 13:30: Explore Chuong Village - A traditional conical hat making village with over 300 years of history
- You will travel to Chuong Village. You will have the opportunity to learn about the village life through the stories
of local artisans.
- Visit the artisan's family to hear their traditional stories and their current life. Enjoy a special lunch at the home of a female artisan who has been involved in the hat making profession for more than 30 years. If you are interested, you can join a small cooking class with the host and learn about local dishes.
- After lunch, the group participates in creative activities: painting on conical hats or observing the artisans' process of making conical hats from natural materials.
13:30: You get on the bus to Quang Phu Cau incense village.
14:00 - 15:00: You arrive at Incense Village, follow and explore the process of creating an incense stick used to worship ancestors according to the traditional beauty of the Vietnamese people.
Then you are free to take pictures here, check-in with the conical hat that you have just decorated with the symbol of the “S” shaped strip of Vietnam, the national flag arranged with colourful incense bundles,…
15:00: You get on the car to return to the original starting point.
Estimated 16:30: You return to the original starting point, the tour guide says goodbye and hopes to see you again in the next programmes. End of trip!
