What you can expect

  • In 12 to 14 hours, a same-day Taj Mahal tour from Delhi provides a practical means of seeing the famous UNESCO World Heritage Site in Agra, 200 to 240 kilometres away. Perfect for those on a tight schedule, these trips return to Delhi by evening after combining guided discovery, easy transport, and major sites. Usually beginning between 2:30 AM and 10:00 AM, tours depart from hotels in Delhi, Noida, or Gurugram. Private AC cars travel by car via the Yamuna Motorway (3-4 hours one way). With guided insights on its history and construction, the programme centers on the Taj Mahal (2–3 hours), a 17th-century marble mausoleum constructed by Shah Jahan. Agra Fort, a UNESCO-listed Mughal fortification, is included on trips along with optional visits to the Baby Taj.
