Day 1: Cusco – Huayopata Valley – Tea Route
7:00 AM – Pick-up from your hotel in Cusco
We begin our adventure with a scenic journey through the Sacred Valley of the Incas, surrounded by towering Andean mountains.
Ascent to the Andes (elevation 4,316 m / 14,160 ft)
Along the way, we will stop at a high point with breathtaking views to take photos and observe the changing ecosystems.
Andean-Amazonian lunch
Upon arriving in the Huayopata Valley, you will enjoy a traditional lunch prepared with fresh local produce, offering a blend of flavours from the highlands and the rainforest.
Valley Hike – Tea Route
Explore tea plantations and learn up close about the cultivation and harvesting process and the varieties of Peruvian tea (green, black, and white), guided by local farmers.
Visit to an artisanal processing plant
Learn how tea is processed using traditional methods and take part in a guided tasting to sample the different varieties:

Sunset cloud forest hike
Enjoy an eco-hike to observe the area's biodiversity. With a bit of luck, you will be able to spot nocturnal birds and small wild mammals in their natural habitat.
Day 2: Coffee and Chocolate – Return to Cusco
Tropical bird watching
Start your day with a morning trek through the rainforest, where you can observe exotic birds such as the Cock-of-the-Rocks, Peru's national bird, and other tropical species from the high jungles.
Local breakfast
Enjoy a hearty breakfast featuring fresh fruit, coffee, and typical products from the valley, prepared by local families.
Artisanal Coffee Route
Learn about the entire coffee process, from picking and pulping to traditional drying and roasting. Learn how the bean is transformed into a premium drink and brew your own cup of freshly ground coffee.
Traditional Community Lunch
Enjoy a second local lunch, made with fresh ingredients and authentic flavours by families from the valley. A perfect moment to share and give thanks.
Handmade Chocolate Route
Take part in the cocoa harvest and the artisanal process of making cocoa paste. Learn ancestral techniques that have been passed down through generations.
Chocolate tasting
In a warm, natural setting, sample high-quality artisanal chocolate bars and cocoa paste made by local families using fine, aromatic cocoa beans.
Return to Cusco
Return along the Sacred Valley of the Incas route, enjoying incredible views to round off this unforgettable experience. Arrival in Cusco in the afternoon, with a heart filled with new knowledge, flavours, and authentic connections to rural Andean life.
