On this tour you will have the opportunity to discover the fantastic landscapes of Serra da Estrela, with a maximum altitude of 1993 metres in the Serra da Estrela Tower.

• Departure to Serra da Estrela, on the Covilhã side, stopping at Varanda dos
  Carqueijas, with stunning views over Cova da Beira;
• Penhas da Saúde Village;
• Piornos Viewpoint (overlooks Santo Antônio, Covão do Ferro Dam, Poio Judeu);
  *Our Lady of the Good Star Parade;
• Visit to the tower, the highest altitude in Portugal,
• There is still time to taste some of the typical Serra products, in traditional shops;
• Visit to Longo Maior das Lagoas da Alta Matança da Serra;
• The Sabugueiro pass holds the title of the highest village in Portugal;

• Belmonte, a municipality almost as old as our nationality, located in the so-called Monte da Esperança, where its remote Castle began in the 19th century, with wide views over the Serra da Estrela, its rich history is deeply associated with the History of goats, as well as the Jewish community in Portugal.

It was also the birthplace of Pedro Álvares Cabral, the great navigator who officially arrived in Brazil in 1500.

• Arrival in Belmonte, castle that was the official residence of the Cabral family (external);
• Visit to the Church of Santiago and Pantheon dos Cabrais (external);
• Visit to the statue of Pedro Álvares Cabral.
