What you can expect

  • Your private guide will pick you up from your hotel, train station, or airport in Bangalore for a scenic three-hour drive to the historic city of Mysore. Upon arrival, begin a full-day guided exploration of the city's rich cultural heritage and iconic landmarks.

Your first stop is the Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple within Srirangapatna Fort. This grand temple, dedicated to Lord Ranganatha (a form of Vishnu), features intricate Dravidian architecture and stands as one of Karnataka’s major spiritual centers.

Continue to the magnificent Mysore Palace, a masterpiece of Indo-Saracenic design. Admire its ornate domes, intricate carvings, and opulent interiors filled with royal artefacts, chandeliers, and period furniture—offering a glimpse into the luxurious life of the Wodeyar Dynasty.

Next, ascend Chamundi Hill to visit the Chamundeshwari Temple, a 17th-century shrine devoted to the fierce goddess Chamundeshwari. The hilltop location also offers sweeping views of Mysore.

Explore Devaraja Market, a lively bazaar bursting with colours and scents, where you’ll find spices, flowers, Mysore silk, and local handicrafts.

Finally, visit the Krishna Raja Sagara (KRS) Dam and the beautiful Brindavan Gardens, famous for their musical fountains. After your enriching journey, return comfortably to Bangalore with unforgettable memories of Mysore.
