What you can expect

  • Day 1 - (Bali)
    Begin with pickup from your accommodation anywhere in Bali in the evening, then travel to Java, cross the sea by ferry, and sleep on the way to Ijen Volcano during the approximately 180-kilometer journey.

    Day 2 - (Java)
    After the long journey from Bali, you will reach Ijen at roughly 2:00 AM, then immediately begin your hike to the top of Ijen Volcano and witness the magical views from the summit. After exploring Ijen, continue your adventure and travel to Mount Bromo. Settle in to your accommodation there, and have some free time to rest after the long travel or explore the nearby area.

    Day 3 - (Java)
    On this final day, get ready for a truly unforgettable experience, witness the magical sunrise over Mount Bromo, the most popular volcano in Indonesia. Once you have finished exploring Mount Bromo, return to your hotel, enjoy breakfast, and pack your belongings, as you will check out at roughly 10:00 AM. Then, you can opt to be dropped off back in Bali, or Surabaya. Please note, if you wish to be dropped back in Bali, you will have approximately 360 kilometres of travel, while to Surabaya is 130 kilometres.
